Akoua R. Kan
​ community navigator
​& French interpreter


Akoua is a former refugee from the Ivory Coast, West Africa. She and her children were resettled in Colorado, United States of America in 2016. Akoua is a native French speaker and holds a Certificate and Bachelor of Science degree in banking and finance. Since 2018, Akoua has worked as a community navigator and French interpreter at the Center for Immigrants and Immigration Services. She has experience and is deeply passionate in supporting the resettlement and integration needs of refugees and immigrants, in particular women and youths in Colorado, United States of America.
