SERVING TORTURE SURVIVORS, ASYLUM SEEKERS, VICTIMS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND OTHER FORMS OF HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES

BEhavioral health

Our Mental/Behavioral Health Department provides an exceptional support system. Through counseling, we aid participants on their healing journey, while facilitating a smoother integration into their new community. The Center for Immigrants employs licensed mental health professionals, master-level clinicians, and interns from local universities to provide this service pro bono.

Our mental/behavioral health team addresses a unique population - many of whom may not have previously encountered mental health care. To overcome potential barriers to care, our team is trained and experienced in responding to multi-cultural mental health needs. This ensures that every client receives dignified and comprehensive care.
